i just watch John Q last week, about a guy who's son needs a heart transplant that he can't pay for, leading him to undertake a series of rational and well thought out ventures. there were many things wrong with this film, including the fact that duvall's character was named frank grimes, and nobody insisted on calling him "grimey." but, by far, the most horrifying moment of the film came when the hospital administrator and the head of cardiac surgery had to tell john q and his wife that their insurance did not cover the necessary transplant and that their son would die without it... and who walks in the room to deliver such delicate and sensitive tidings... james woods and anne heche.
