The Hamadan Judicial Ministry investigations director claimed that Bani 'Aamari's death was a suicide, but a knowledgeable ministry source expressed doubts on the matter. Bani 'Aamari's family noted that she had spoken with them by phone half an hour before being informed of her death, and that the conversation had shown that her mental state was good and that she had no signs of instability.
